Agreement
By accessing or using Ilmora ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a school, college, university, or other organisation ("Organisation"), you represent that you have authority to bind that Organisation. The Service is offered by Jamil Global and branded as Ilmora. For more about Jamil Global, see jamilglobal.com.
The Service
Ilmora is a bespoke, configurable learning platform that may include features such as role-based portals, class feeds, assessments, reporting, and AI-assisted tools. Features available to you depend on your Organisation's configuration and subscription or project scope.
Accounts and acceptable use
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure;
- Use the Service only for lawful educational or administrative purposes aligned with your Organisation's policies;
- Not attempt to disrupt, probe, or bypass security, or access data you are not authorised to view;
- Not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or use the Service to harass others;
- Comply with applicable laws, including child safety and data protection requirements.
Your Organisation may impose additional rules; those apply to you when using the Service in that context.
Content and intellectual property
Your Organisation and its users retain ownership of content they submit, subject to the licence needed for us to host, process, and display that content to provide the Service. Jamil Global retains all rights in the Service, software, branding, and documentation. Unless expressly agreed in writing, you receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service during the term of your access.
AI features
Where AI features are enabled, outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and for educational or professional decisions. Your Organisation's agreement may include additional terms for AI processing, model providers, and acceptable use of generated content.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We aim to operate the Service reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable; critical security updates may be applied without prior notice.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Jamil Global and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred euros (€100), except where a written contract with your Organisation states otherwise.
Termination
Your Organisation or Jamil Global may suspend or terminate access in line with your agreement or for breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as liability limits and intellectual property) will survive termination.
Governing law
Unless your Organisation has a written agreement specifying otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you are an individual user and cannot contractually waive them.
